Landini at EIMA with technologies for the future of farming

At EIMA 2026, Landini, the historic Argo Tractors brand, presents a range that gives concrete form to the transformation of agriculture, combining the evolution of conventional tractors with pioneering projects such as the REX4 Full Electric and REX4 AutoPilot.
From fully electric propulsion and autonomous driving to a new mid-power transmission with four or six Powershift speeds, digital implement management and precision farming systems, Landini brings solutions to the sector that increase efficiency, safety and sustainability.

Landini REX4 Full Electric

The Landini REX4 Full Electric is a complete electrification project applied to a specialist tractor. It has been developed while keeping dimensions, centre of gravity and weight consistent with the conventional REX4 range, without compromising compactness or the range of configurations and implements dedicated to vineyards, orchards and specialist crops.
The switch to electric propulsion required a new structural architecture: in place of the internal combustion engine, a semi-chassis - a solution derived from higher-power Landini ranges - connects the front and rear sections of the tractor and supports the battery pack installed under the bonnet.
The energy core is a 75 kWh, 700 V battery from Deutz AG, capable of delivering up to 100 kW and powering the electric motors for traction and the PTO.
The transmission, based on four ranges and designed from scratch, can manage an infinite number of ratios from zero to top speed. Energy flows are managed by the Power Management System, a control unit developed in-house by Argo Tractors that coordinates the battery, motors, inverters and onboard systems, optimising energy consumption and providing extra power when required.
The REX4 Full Electric recovers energy under braking and when the accelerator is released, with different levels of regenerative braking. This is particularly effective on downhill transfers, where a conventional transmission would dissipate the energy as heat.
Charging uses the CCS2 standard, with up to 22 kW available from a three-phase AC supply, as well as fast DC charging from external charging stations. Estimated operating time is around 4 hours, compatible with a fast charge during the midday break and a full charge overnight.
The tractor is already prepared to power future electrified implements, while all onboard services - from the 12 V electrical system to cab air conditioning and heating - are electrically operated, supporting full integration with the growing ability of farms to generate energy from renewable sources.

Landini REX 4-120F AutoPilot

The Landini REX4-120F AutoPilot has been developed from the evolution of the new REX4 in Dynamic Plus configuration as an experimental project to bring advanced automation to the specialist tractor segment, without giving up its dual-use configuration: the tractor remains a conventional machine that can also be driven by an operator.
The autonomous driving system is based on GPS RTK technology and operates within areas previously mapped by a certified operator, who defines safety boundaries, work areas and rows, generating a map used to programme missions through a dedicated application. The prototype was initially developed for use with a trailed sprayer, a strategic application for rapid crop treatments, while development will subsequently be extended to machines for inter-row, canopy-wall and under-canopy management.
The system reaches a maximum working speed of 7 km/h, reduced to 2 km/h during turns, and can operate only within the defined safety boundaries, with no access to public roads.
From a hardware standpoint, the system consists of two RTK antennas and a ground reference system for guidance management. Three LiDAR sensors with a dedicated control unit are installed to manage safety and emergency situations. Thanks to onboard cameras, work status can also be monitored remotely via a dedicated app.
For autonomous braking, the REX4-120F is equipped with a new electrohydraulic braking system that can be controlled directly by the control unit. Safety is based on the combination of satellite navigation, certified mapping and LiDAR detection.
The REX4-120F AutoPilot is a fully fledged specialist tractor - not simply a robotic vehicle - that retains the performance, versatility and compatibility with conventional implements of a traditional tractor, while adding the ability to operate without an operator on board.

Landini REX 4-120GT

The Landini REX4-120GT Model Year 2027 is the evolution of the REX4 range and brings numerous technological solutions derived from higher-power tractors into the specialist segment. The model is powered by the proven Deutz-AG TCD Stage V 2.9-litre, four-cylinder turbo intercooled engine with electronic common rail injection, delivering up to 112 hp.
The cab structure remains unchanged, but the interior has been revised with a new control layout designed to provide a more ergonomic driving position, more space for the operator and improved sound insulation. The evolution applies to all configurations in the range, available in Standard, Dynamic and Dynamic Plus trim levels; the latter stands out for its fully digital instrument cluster and the highest level of technological integration.
The Dynamic Plus version on display at EIMA introduces a new digital instrument cluster paired with an 8-inch DSM monitor, creating the DSM Plus system derived from the higher-power ranges. The terminal, installed on the monitor support bar, provides integrated display and management of tractor information and functions linked to assisted guidance systems. Cab access has also been further improved through a revised left-hand console and repositioned PTO speed levers.
The transmission and hydraulic system layouts have also been rationalised, improving efficiency, operating quality and accessibility for maintenance while reducing service times. Simplifying the hydraulic circuit has reduced the turning radius, increasing agility in the confined spaces typical of vineyards and orchards. Overall height has also been revised and reduced by approximately 150 mm on the version with a Category 4 roof incorporating telematics devices.

Landini REX 4-080GB

The Landini REX4-080GB expands the range with a Low Profile cab configuration designed for specialist crops characterised by restricted height clearance, low rows and confined manoeuvring spaces. The solution combines the compactness of the platform version with the protection, comfort and quality of the working environment offered by a cab.
The Landini REX4-080GB is powered by a Deutz-AG TCD Stage V 2.9-litre, four-cylinder turbo intercooled engine with electronic common rail injection, delivering 75 hp between 1,500 and 2,000 rpm.
The hydraulic system features a standard dual pump delivering 58 + 30 l/min, dedicated respectively to the rear hitch and remotes and to the steering system. An optional triple-pump configuration delivering 30 + 58 + 36 l/min is also available, providing a total flow of up to 88 l/min for the hitch and remotes.
The monocoque cab is installed directly at Argo Tractors plants, integrating directly with the tractor and ensuring assembly in line with the company's strict quality standards. It also reduces noise by 3 dB(A) compared with aftermarket-installed cabs. The cab is prepared to operate in protection Category 2 or Category 4, which can be activated when required by the task, while automatic climate control is standard.

Landini REX 3-080F

The Landini REX3-080F will be presented at EIMA with a new 28-inch rear-wheel option, available on the market from 2027. This configuration broadens the model's range of applications and responds to the needs of an intermediate segment currently positioned between the REX3 and REX4.
The larger-diameter wheels increase ground clearance, traction and versatility while retaining the compact dimensions that characterise the REX3 range. The REX3-080 is powered by a 75 hp Rehlko four-cylinder engine delivering maximum torque of 315 Nm at 1,600 rpm.

Landini Serie 7 SWB

The new Landini Serie 7 SWB expands the brand's offering in the medium-high power segment, combining compact dimensions and versatility with technologies derived from higher-power ranges. The Serie 7 SWB uses a structural engine installation and is available with either FPT N45 four-cylinder or FPT N67 six-cylinder engines. The two configurations share equivalent power curves and cover a range from 155 to 175 hp, allowing customers to choose between the greater compactness of the four-cylinder engine and the smoother power delivery of the six-cylinder engine according to the application.
Transmission options include the Robo-Six, with six Powershift speeds and five robotised ranges, and the V-Shift, available on the higher-power models with both four- and six-cylinder engines.
The latter is a four-stage continuously variable transmission capable of managing speed seamlessly from 0 to 40 or 50 km/h. The two solutions allow the tractor's behaviour to be adapted to field work, farm applications and road transport.
The acronym SWB - Short Wheelbase - identifies a family developed to offer manoeuvrability and operating capability while retaining the structural and technological concept of the Smart Cab. The range will be offered in Active and Dynamic trim levels, differentiated by driving-position layout, hydraulic management and digital equipment. The entry-level Active version introduces a right-hand console with flowing lines and controls arranged to optimise ergonomics. The operator area is spacious, with generous room in height, width and depth. Standard specification includes three mechanically controlled remote valves, with a fourth electrohydraulic remote valve available and controlled through the EasyPilot multifunction lever. The closed-centre CCLS hydraulic system is common to both versions and provides flow and pressure according to actual implement demand.
Both versions can be equipped with the Carraro IFS front axle with independent suspension, which can be combined with mechanical cab suspension or, on higher-spec versions, with semi-active cab suspension under electrohydraulic control.
Wheelbase is 2,651 mm on the four-cylinder models and 2,760 mm on the six-cylinder versions, while shipping weight ranges approximately from 6,400 to 7,000 kg depending on engine, transmission and selected trim.
Onboard technology is available on both configurations, but with different levels of integration. The Dynamic version adopts the DSM Plus system, comprising a digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel and a main touchscreen monitor. The first works as a natural extension of the central terminal, allowing information to be distributed between the two screens and simplifying control of the tractor's main functions. On the Active version, equipped with an analogue instrument cluster, ISOBUS functions and assisted guidance systems with RTK correction can be managed through an additional 10-inch monitor installed either on the right-hand front pillar or on the monitor support bar. This gives even the entry-level version access to precision farming technologies, allowing customers to configure the tractor according to the real needs of their farm.
